New scope user, how to set up.

I have just invested heavily in scoping my CZ 452 with the intention of shooting out to distances. I know it is overkill for a .22 but I bought a Vortex Viper PST 5-25. I have a 25 MOA rail and some precision rings.

I want to be able to shoot the gun at 100 yards as well as to 200 and beyond. I am hoping for suggestions on how to set up the scope to get the most out of it.

Thank you Chaser.

I just finished reading Ryan Cleckner's book. His video had some details left out of his book. Also the multiple other links will help me find a variety of views & techniques.

Not even close to overkill, i have a pst 5-25 on one of my 10/22 and with a 30 moa rail i can get out to 400 yards, but have yet to shoot that far, 300 yards was a blast this weekend and you will want that 25 mag when out past 200, also the zero stop is nice when dialing 50 moa, makes coming back to zero easy peasy.
