Does anyone have any experience with the Australian Lithgow LA101 rimfire rifles?
Their published stats are impressive but the list price is quite high. Any info will be appreciated.

Lithgow

I have the Lithgow 101 in .22 , stainless barrel & Walnut stock .
It is just a well put together gun , not the best looking wood I should have gone for the laminate .
No matter what ammo that I feed it the accuracy is xlnt RWS and SK seem to be the best consistancy.

Have a left hand LA101 with a Nikon 3-9 EFR scope, shoots very well and is well made. There appears to have been magazine feeding problems with some of the early rifles , mine(bought Nov/19) has no problems and I am using Lithgow 5 rd mags as well as CZ metal 5rd mags. As for accuracy levels it is a toss up between the Lithgow and my Anschutz 1416L.

It seems as though they lost their American distributor a little while ago. I'm eagerly awaiting the day they find a new one so I can add a left handed one to the collection.

News from Lithgow sales

I contacted Lithgow direct several weeks ago concerning a firing pin replacement for a LA101. This was after contacting Legacy in Reno, NV & being ghosted after complying with a request form they emailed me.

I was advised that being discontinued by Legacy left Lithgow in a hole however they are entering into an agreement with another entity here in the states to at least store & retail parts until they can reestablish with another distributor.

Thumbs up Lithgow 101.

My 101 suffered a broken firing pin. Lithgow were instant to tell me it is warranty and they sent a new firing pin assembly.

My rifle prefers ammo in the higher velocity range. SK reds for example but these are subject to wind at the range being a target low velocity cartridge.
