1995 Model Golden 39AS

I bought this one today. My wife is going to kill me ! LOL. Anyways , it is a 1995 model in very good shape. Not perfect but a very nice sample. Bluing very good with a few marks where someone put a scope mount on the top of the receiver. Wood just a few small handling marks, overall pretty nice. Love the checkering on both the forearm and the stock. JM stamped barrel. It does have the safety but I guess that's not all bad. So you guys know way more than me about these , think it is a solid purchase. Hope to shoot it some this weekend. I'll let you know how she does.

Thanks , I am pretty stoked about it. Had a nice one years ago and let it go in a weak moment.

Nice! . You’re gonna have a lot of fun with that one.
Built like a tank , smooth and accurate. And bound to go up in value!

For what you paid you coulve bought a nice set of golf clubs. Which after 3 years would be worth 10 % of what you paid, and obsolete.

Golfs like shooting , trying to put the ball in a hole is like trying to hit the bullseye. You need a lot of clubs, and gear. You’re outside with family and friends.

Shooting is more fun, easier, and bullets are like balls , you lose quite a few

Beautiful 39A.

Congratulations on the find. I am not sure if the 39A has the same safety as the center fire rifles or not (all my 39s are safety free)but Beartooth Mercantile sells saddle ring safety deletes that are really nice. I've purchased 5 of them for my centerfire rifles. Love the saddle ring and makes the safety hole look like a factory screw when done.
Just a thought if the safety bothers you, most people just do not touch it and no problems.

And there are posts on how to get rid of the rebounding hammer, if so inclined.

I've been reading up on the rebounding hammer. I'm going to shoot it as is for a while . I'm sure it is more accurate than I am in stock form. A question for you guys, where can I get the set screws to fill in the scope mount holes on the top of the receiver.

The center fire safety delete will not work on a 39AS.
Wish some one would make one.
