model 81DL ejector question

I am restoring a model 91DL. As far as I can tell it is missing the ejector. I see on pics of one, looks like a spring loop with an extended leg for ejection. I'm guessing the leg rides on the underside of the bolt? does it install inside the bullet guide housing? Any help appreciated.

I took a quick look inside my Model 81 for you while working on it this evening. It looks like the ejector is built into the left side of the lifter assembly on mine.

If I remember correctly, (slim chance), the ejector is a piece of spring wire bent and fastened to the bottom of the receiver with a screw. I probably could be prodded into removing the stock and taking a photo, tomorrow.

I will take a look in the morning.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

On an 81DL with the tube magazine, the ejector is a small tab that sticks up on the left side of the cartridge carrier assembly.

On the 80DL with the clip in magazine, there is a spring arm that rides in a groove on the bottom of the bolt.

My rifle is a model 80DL with the 7 round magazine. Hope these photos will help. Top two photos show the bottom of the bolt area. The ejector wire is around the large bolt at the extreme lower left in the photo, and you can see that it is just a piece of spring wire bent in the correct shape and fastened to the rifle. The third photo is the top view into the area showing the opposite end of the extractor.

Have a blessed day,

Leon
