And another one... This Randall Knives model is called a Tailor; it is a non-catalog model so not really a custom. However, they are few and far between. I first handled one in the early 90's and wish I had bought it, but had just gotten my Pathfinder, blowing my wad for awhile.

I've been meaning to get one. I have the Triathlete, just no Tailor yet.

You should include quarter for size comparison.

Is that Randall above a 'lapel knife' ?

Sort of reminds me of one, very sharply pointed for easy penetration. I picked up a Pat Crawford friction folder, sort of w warncliffe bladed 'douk-douk; folding knife. I will attach some photos of it when I get back in office.

Editted Here are the photos of that Crawford I promised.

I just purchased an old Queen #10 Heavy Duty Jack with orange winterbone. According to tang stamp, 1958 - 1960. Very clean condition, heck, its just a few years older than me. I hope I'm in as good a shape when I reach that age ...

Been wanting a heavy jack knife pattern for quite a while. Wanted an old Western, but my luck (and finances) couldn't work it out - bad karma. Did find an old Case XX Barlow with red bone scales. Really nice but just a tad too heavy. Fantastic steel though, I like that one a lot.

It appears this new one will fill right in.

There seem to be a fair number of vintage Queen knives available recently. It's funny how things cycle sometimes. I keep hoping to stumble on one of there small fixed blade FINN models myself.

Very nice indeed . . .

. . . you have good taste in cutlery.

Got lucky - found an individual who was willing to sell their Spyderco C44 Dyad (large model, manufactured '00 - '02) to me, I just sent payment for it. Looking forward to seeing it in person, has a 'cult' following but you either love it or hate it.

I have a Dyad Jr from back-in-the-day.

It's quite the knife.
