Hey Sam Koger here, lurk a lot and post little. I am looking for a .22 LR HP tool, the one that screws into the top of your press and and a shell holder for the .22 lr ammo to go in and you run the round into the die, which hollow points it and flares the bullet out in a uniform manner. All help appreciated.

New to me and sounds dangerous. It'll be interesting see if anyone here does this as RFCers have done all sorts of things (rimfire).

Whiplash, not dangerous at all. I know several benchrest shooters that use them, am suprised I got so little feedback from a exclusive rimfire forum. I found on on the site which sells the relaoding stuff for .22LR. If anyone else needs one that is the place to go.

i'll make you really nervous now..... I have and use an old tool I got several years ago called a Paco Kelly hollow point tool.... it's a brass cylinder that fits over the rimfire cartrage and you rap that down on the cartrage bullet end up which uniforms the bullet to a round .223 size then you put you hollow point tool in to the hole in the tool and rap it down gently to form and open up the hollow point... I have done a couple thousand of these works great..... I ue a rubber mallet and a nylon soft board...….

I too have been after these for a while mainly to create a semi wadcutter. and possibly "nasty nose" hp ammo too.

However it seems that they are no longer available.

Talking of hammers

I used to used reload .303 with a lee hand press. whacking in primers with a rubber mallet

I had a lil gizzy. Did a good job for a bolt action but would not feed reliably in my KIDD so I couldn't use it. I was somewhat disappointed.
