I tried the C-clamp method, I,did not remove the C-clip and extractors first.However if I had done that the clamp would have been more square to the bolt face.

Pad the screw end of the clamp to prevent marking the end of the bolt, screw clamp to compress and drive out pin.

Clamp acts like a 3rd hand if the pin is tight, mine was.

This is very much like the disassembly of the Ruger Precision Rimfire bolt.

Not sure why you need the C clamp? Pretty easy to do without and less time, IMHO.
