Thanks PABear it's so nice to be able to rotate and recline when not shooting...abjustable height so no leg craps...for about $300 it is worth it's weight in gold.. no support legs to get in the way just so sweet to go round and round in circles. By the way my brother and I deserve the best and so does everybody else...so check them out...easy to modify. They for what they are...they are really rock steady...more than you think so sweeeeeet.

@PABear - Did CZ make a 452 in 17HM2? I was not aware of this!

I love the consistency across the rifles - but the scope on the 6th seems to be slightly out of place..

The last rifle is a 550 FS in 308 winchester and it has a Weaver Super Slam 4 x 20 scope. All the rest of the scopes are Grand Slams.

Since this thread is about CZ FS's I'm guess you mean did they make a 452 FS in .17m2 and the answer is none that I've ever seen nor heard of, with CZ and Brno "never say never" is a precaution I usually observe.

Yes sir, I forgot the “FS” part! I was going to say if they did make one, I need to add one to join my other HM2s in the American platform! One standard and one maple!

your absolutely right never say never , was at the local gunshop couple days ago and I am always on the lookout for a deal on my next CZ .

next to a 527 varmint was obviously a 5xx lux , long barrel with a front hood sight kinda gave it away.

let me look at that please ?

its a 550 cool got my attention, noticed in had a fixed mag in the rack gotta be something good .

whaaat the ? its a new in the gun, lux barreled action , a .308 ?
with an AMERICAN stock ! what the heck is this animal ? weird

That price is a bit much, IMO.

PABear,

You missed the 22 WMR that was listed just a couple of weeks ago. Made two runs with no bids either time...

I almost bought that one on GB, partly because I wanted to refinish that beautiful stock.

It eventually sold here in the classified forum after a very short listing.

I have to ask, what do you consider to be “refinishing” the stock? I’ll be giving it The the Maguiar’s Scratch X 2.0 and Howard’s Feed-n-Wax treatment! Maybe I could approach it differently with some other insight! It’s how I clean up all my CZ stocks.

I missed purchasing it on GB for three reasons: (1) the email systems were down and notifications regarding watch items weren’t coming through, (2) I remembered the night it was ending, but had the time wrong, and (3) I forgot to check the ending time because I was at my Church’s trunk or treat! I actually reached out to the gentleman via another one of his auctions, we spoke on the phone and he noted it was posted here. I’ve been after one of these buggers for a while and I think he knew it! It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but now I’ve got it! I only need a couple 452s to round out my ideal collection!

Neither of mine are NIB, but that's nice to know.

I still have this one, in 22WMR with a Burris 1.75-5x20 scope.

I have $150 in the scope and $325 in the rifle. No, I won't sell it for $475.

This one is in 22LR, and has a Weaver 2.5-7x32 scope on it. Wood is plain, but rifle shoots sub-MoA.

I have a CZ 550 Full Stock in 6.5x55. It is a fine shooter as well, also sub-MoA. Here it is with a fine 10-point I took on opening day in 2017.

And that's it for CZ full stocks for me. A trinity of fun shooting!

For me, that would be removing all of the factory finish and replacing it with something that lets the wood grain show through very clearly. I use Tru-Oil, but there are several other options. The nicer they look with the factory finish on them, the more will show with a clearer re-finish.
