It couldn't hurt to ask them whether they might offer to change the reticle for you. Probably not, but other scope manufacturers will change the reticle at cost.

That's a tough one to swallow. Those older GS scopes have really good glass. Probably better than anything Bushnell currently sells for under $1,200. Maybe they have an old 4200 series laying around.

Go find you a older Lupey 24X. Send it to Leupold, have them put you in a 1/8 minute dot on fine cross hairs. Have then put on some type of target knobs. And go shoot it!

I have a Bushnell 6-26x50 Engage scope with the Deploy Recticle in it and I really like it.

I shoot 30 & 50 yard benchrest with it and on occasion shoot a spinner target at 75 yards{ 1" disc on top/1 1/2" disc on bottom).

I don't think the recticle is too cluttered, I shoot USBR targets, IBS 50 targets and the ARBA 50 yard targets and a lot of the fun match targets on this forum and see the centers well with the scope at 25X.

When I shoot the spinner at 75 yds. I just put the cross hairs up 3 hash marks and adjust my hold to hit that 1" disc.
