Interesting ad.

Because of the wars around the world, some guns were hard to find in 1941. This is what my dad told me. He barely managed to get a Winchester Model 12 12 gauge pump just before WW II.

Talking i love the old gun ads

I have a large collection of them framed on my man cave wall. I try to find one for every old gun I own, successful up to date.

FYI - that was NOT inexpensive

$17.85 in 1941, when adjusted for inflation is:

$324.27 in June 2019

Oh I know! It just seems that way. Your money went a lot farther back then than it does now, thatís for sure. Heck, then, a nickel was considered an acceptable tip, . Now, a nickel wonít get you anywhere. My how times have changed.
