I really like white grips on a blued steel handgun, and yours is a very nice one!

Did that originally come with the large wrap around target grips?

I bought it used and it came with the standard black plastic grips. I'm pretty sure it came that way from the factory.

It is. The magazine disconnect had been removed by the previous owner as well as the loaded chamber indicator. It's still there, but doesn't work. Magazines shoot out of it as if there is a rocket attached to them. I really like this little MK III.

The simulated Ivory grips look good on any Ruger MK series pistol. I have several sets myself.
FWIW, I once bought a $250 set of real stag grips for my MK II competition. The Simulated Ivory grips I had actually looked better on the gun so I swapped them back out. I felt guilty though as they are so inexpensive .

I really like having multiple sets of grips for a handgun. You change them out occasionally and it's like having a whole new gun!

hadnt thought of it that way , mostly ive replaced what i wanted different and saved the originals for the future keeper down the road , i seldom think to switch again once i have what i wanted on them , but i can see your point of a big change without a big expense or a whole new gun ,
