Finished this one up today. I like the way it turned out but the pics don't do it justice. I decided that a good "workman looking" sheath would suit it pretty good so nothing real fancy about this rig.

So here's the latest.

5/32" O-1 steel
Blade is 4" OAL is 9 1/4"
Buckeye burl scales with mosaic pins
Vine pattern File-work and jimping

All comments are welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks, for looking,
Rick

Thanks Dave...I just wanted to get this one posted before you put your next one on tonight. Nobody will look at my work once you post your's.
I noticed those pins on your knife as soon as I saw the knife. Great minds think alike is my defense.

Rick

Beautiful knife, Rick... I love the double-stitching on the sheath. In character with the knife. You have a fabulous eye.

Quack...Just doing something I love while the "day job" is slow. Vitamins...no.. it's a choice between making knives or doing the "honey-do" list. Not a hard decision really.

Rick, It is obvious that you have a true passion for making outstanding knives.
Your eye and attention to detail are right up there with the very best... not only the knives, but also the leather-work are top of the line without going over the top.
Your total package can skirt the line of showcase quality and field tested,, user approved. Not many can get to this point...
While I have the desire, I do not have the talent... I also have too many passions to ever be good at any one...
Keep up the GREAT work and thank-you for posting them, as I thoroughly enjoy looking at them!!!!!!
Now I gotta get back to drilling and tapping the broken head-bolts in an old flathead V8
.
.......Roger

Thanks Roger...I do love making knives and hopefully will continue to learn and improve. I would still be making knives that look more like railroad spikes stuck in a broom handle if not for the encouragement of the folks here on RFC and the patient teaching from the veteran knife-makers like Dave ( Handcannons ) Art Summers, Gary (sqawsach) and too many others to name. They are the "enablers" of my addiction and I hope I will be in a position someday to pass it on.

I have been lurking here for a while. I would love to see a down and dirty write up on your sheaths. I think they are simple yet awesome. Just a few pics of your process if you don't mind. I love your knife BTW.
