Congrats on the new pistol BigD! Did you find the VQ kit install easy? I'm considering the VQ upgrade as well.

Yep wasn't that bad at all. I did one along time ago on my Mark II so I did when I can't figure something out watch youtube. Just type in ruger mark iv trigger volquartsen and look for the captain gyro guy, he is very good in explaining on the procedure. You will not be disappointed in the trigger when your done.

Thanks everyone. I should also add about the Volquartsen trigger kit for those who are thinking about it Volquartsen gives you a website with a step by step procedure with pictures with the install of their trigger accurizing kit.

Off a sand bag at 25 yards my hunter will shoot as good as my model 41 one ragged hole for the price difference you can’t go wrong with a ruger

Yes I do agree with no hassles but one of my model 41 has functioned flawless right out of box the other needed a little tweaking to get it running with out any trouble! But my Mark iv have all ran flawlessly with every kind of Ammo I have tried only thing I did was volquartsen accurizing kit to them
