Stan has done a great job selecting pucker power targets Kevin. That is a great score on the C3. Without a doubt skill and refined equipment. It appears that you are getting comfortable with the Joy-Pod. I expected that you would score a 250 but thought the x count would be higher. I havenít ever shot that target so Iím not aware of all the challenges.

Very respectable shooting Kevin

"I expected that you would score a 250 but thought the x count would be higher."

If you haven't noticed I'm super stringy with my best ammo which is why I seldom shoot more than one target on this thread.
From time to time I will shoot a whole box, but that still usually means only 2 targets.
The RWS Special Match shot really well, but not good enough to clean the target.

If I had shot this USBR target with my best ammo, I think there would have been a very good chance I would have cleaned it considering the superb conditions I had yesterday.
But we'll never know now.

Im not really a fan of shooting competition targets at half of their intended distances.
But each to their own.
However I do think the CZ contest is fine considering all of the restrictions that they have in place.

I appreciate all of the compliments, as I'm sure all of the other participants on this thread also do. Always nice to hear.

By the way, I don't comment on targets in other classes because I have no experience with them to base my opinion on.
Of course I'm happy that so many participate, all of whom seem to be striving hard to obtain their best possible result. That's all any of us can do.

I totally understand. Only started building rifle and ammo supplies this year. Always had the interest but work schedule never allowed the time and effort it takes to do well in a sport I have a lot of interest in. Never the less I enjoy following the better/more experienced shooters to gain knowledge of this sport. I spent my lifetime studying the experts to excel in everything I do. Thank you and others for sharing.

Finally a day with good weather. That means shooting, new stock on gun and challenges

RFC Alias: Norwegianrimfire, First name: ōystein
Score w/ bonus: 120 +20 bonus ,Class: C2 scoped,
Scope: Vorex 4-16x50 Diamondback @12
Rifle make: CZ 452E2, Ammo: Husqvarna .22 SPESIAL
Weather conditions: Sunny, light wind and +9C

I've had this old ammunition lying around for a while. So I wanted to test it.
Translation of what is on the box:

"Husqvarna .22 SPECIAL
.22 Long Rifle for Rifle and Pistol
Produced by Eley for Schou gunsmith and
sports shop A / S"

I don't know the quality it is, but the price was much higher than CCI SV at the time. The shop I bought them from was to be closed down, so I got an incredibly good price.
