I have one of Chet's barrels in the black compensated one and use Eley Force in it. 36gr mini mags are my normal ammo for these. The Eley really steps it up a notch or 2.

Splitting cards is mostly about trigger control. I practice by shooting at vertical lines on targets at increasing distances.

Yes, the Nelson fits and functions perfectly. Didn't have to change a thing. Strip the Colt 9mm slide and install and tighten the Nelson. Done.

Thanks. Took much less ammo to do than I thought it would.
1 card second shot, the rest were all between 4 & 6.
I'll try offhand at 10 yards.

10 yards off-hand

Impressed myself, 10 yards off-hand, two ten round mags and I hit it four times.
The last cut it completely.
