making my own bench rest stock

So i decided to build my own bench rest stock. I started with a m1 carbine clone stock, added wood in certain areas. Shaped the stock with water proof body filler. preped and primered then painted with Sikkens base coat and clear coat for automotive applications. There is still more work to be done on the rifle, but hopefully all the work will pay off.

That looks great. Did you use rattle cans or spray gun? I like the color. I modified an old Ruger Am plastic stock a while back. It was about that color, but I didnít clear coat it.
