Neos u22 cleaning

I finally picked mine up today. I got to the range late and only got a half hour in. When I got home and broke it down to clean, The destructions only say to break it down with the thumb screw. I was wondering how to take it the rest of the way apart. I did take the bolt out of the grip and it looked like I could slide the grip out from under, but didn't want to break anything. Am I on the right track? Any tips would be welcome. Oh buy the way it has great grouping on targets near and far, I just keep pulling to the left on the far shots.

Congrats on your Neos! The grip is hinged at the trigger guard area, so it slides down and forward for removal. However, it really isn't neccessary to go that far for cleaning. If you want to clean the magazine well, use a long slender stick of some sort and wrap it with a patch. A used chopstick works for me.

Thats what I thought, thanks for the info. I just didn't want to force it and be wrong. I have sent an email to Beretta questioning the release of the carbine. A reply email gave the standard corprate "we want to get it to the market soon, but we also want a quality product". Have we decided to bug them daily or are we not wasting our time?
