Don't mean to hijack your real question, but how about $$ problems feeding this ammo hog? 6$ in what, 10 seconds? CCI should be giving these mags away for free!

BTW, thanks for the Shot Show reports!

The Butler Creek 25rnd mags feed very well and are about a million times easier to load than the new Savage factory magazines. Not to kick a gift horse in the mouth but I kind of wish they made a 15rnd mag because these 25's stick out the bottom quite a bit.

?? kick a gift horse in the mouth ?? Poor horse. It used to be - "look a gift horse in the mouth", as in check out his teeth to see how old he is.

I have one, got it for Christmas, have not shot it yet. I did play around with loading it and can say it loads very easy. I will say that the 25th round barely fit and was vary hard to get back out. I will give it a try and let you guys know how it works.

I've shot over 500 rounds through mine. Much easier to load than the OEM clip. Not one jam yet. Love it.

Concur

No problems feeding, easy loading, and yes, sticks way down.

Savage and Butler Creek fall under the same corporate umbrella, and so I very much want to believe that the engineering was coordinated...

I shot mine over the weekend, cycled very well. I don't know if the first time I loaded it the follower was out of position but I never had a problem this time. Loaded and shot 25 rounds four times and had one fail to feed...the mag will probably only be used for prairie dog with bipod or shooting stick. I really don't like it for off hand shooting, leaning on a tree, ect.

I ran about 300 rounds through mine the other day. And it worked flawlessly. Lots of squeak's fed the birds..
