Don,

JEE's knife is a Native. As far as ease of opening goes, I think you need to find a store where you can try a couple. It really depends on the knife. The size and shape of the handle, detent strength, and size of the spydie hole can all play a part in how it works for you. If you find the right knife, then with a little practice I don't think you will have a problem unless your dexterity is severely impaired.

I like the Domino but it's more than I would spend on a knife. I was looking at the Native a few days ago and thought about buying one but backed out. I think I will do as "remnar" suggest and try a few in some local stores.

The Domino is a bit spendy, true. Carbon fiber, titanium, and exotic steel blade add up. But, man, it's niiiiiiiiiice!

The Native (shown by JEE) is a great little knife. Very lightweight. Also relatively inexpensive. I got mine in all black.

My new EDC knife. The Wave feature makes this quicker than an automatic.

I finally got my power supply and I've been experimenting for the last few days. After a failure with a Boker, I decided to take the plunge and anodize my Techno.

Here's some before shots.

Fresh out of the bath. This picture shows the color better than any of the others, but none of them show the deep blue color very well. I hope to get some better shots tomorrow during daylight.

Back together With new and freshly anodized stand offs.

I'm very happy with the final result and now have plans for my Sage 2, but that will have to wait for now...

Here's one I've had for a number of years, a gift from a good friend. This is a lefty,
Model C19PSL.

One of the first knives I bought at a show was the large version of this, I carried it for a couple of years, sent it back to Spyderco for a fix up and sold it for more than I paid!

Newest addition. I've noticed that the supply of these is starting to dry up, so I thought that I'd better get one before they're gone.

I didn't plan to spend any money at the gun show today, but sometimes I just can't pass them up.

This is the only Spyderco butterfly knife that I've ever seen in person and I couldn't pass it up. I wouldn't have passed on a reasonably priced SmallFly either or the freakingly amazing SzaboFly.
