Buckmark Hunter or Stainless Target

Not sure which of these two that fits my needs. I am looking for an accurate gun that balances nice and has the capability to add a red dot or scope at some point. I like the idea of the heavy fluted barrel on the target model but can a scope be added to these without removing the rear sight or if I add the scope rail will I loose the adjustable rear sight. This gun will just be for target practice at the range but I am afraid my eyes will not allow me to do my best without optics. Too many choices in the buckmark line

Thanks,

Jazzman

Tactical Solutions makes a nice scope base with an intergrated rear sight.

I got one on order and can't wait to try it out

Jazzman- I've had a Hunter for three years- for awhile mounted a
red dot, now I have a x4 Leupold on it. The Hunter with the 6 1/2 or
7" (can't remember exact length) barrel handles both. The rear iron
is not impacted.

FYI David

I can't keep all the BuckMark models straight, but they make a rail model with factory sights that are real nice. Mount your red dot sight far enough forward so that you can remove the rear screw to take the barrel off for cleaning without removing the red dot sight.
