single6 convertable for stainless bearcat?

My first handgun was a Blued,6.5" single six convertable I bought in excellent shape. A guy I know has a like new, with box and manual, stainless bearcat that he want's to trade. My single six has always been a sub 1 inch grouper and has sentimental value but the bearcat is so sweet and "pretty". Is it worth it to trade? I know it's up to me but I'm on the fence. Any enlightened opinions?

This is a hard one. But since the blue SS is your first, and it shoots good, I would tend to put more value on the sentimental. Picture giving that to your Son, the fact it was your first gun will make it even more special.

Just buy the bearcat.

The Bearcat is a great little gun, but it is difficult for me to shoot. It is very light and has a narrow rear sight with a very thin front sight. Mine shoots well, but you have to work at it.

Keep the Single Six. Buy the Bearcat if you want it.

Forget the bearcat. You have a single action .22 and .22mag. Buy a markIII hunter.

Keep the Single Six, but the bearcat.

My first handgun was also a Blued, 6.5" single six convertable which I bought brand new, and I'm keeping it!
