Does anyone have one of these chassis and knows some smart mods for it?
I just won an auction for one in .22LR. Iím thinking that the pic rail on the bottom of the but stock will need to go or be covered.
Does anyone know a rail cover for me to get?
Has anyone done any mods to their stock to make it better for them?
The stock is made fir CZ from Luth-AR. And Luth-AR has some other butt stocks that look more adjustable and user friendly as well. Thoughts anyone?

I purchased the 457 Precision Chassis last November as an entry into target shooting. (Brand new to the shooting sports and picked this one just by the reviews.)

I started out using a bipod then switched to a front rest and rear bag but also questioned the pic rail portion of the butt stock.

I considered fabricating a bag rider to cover the pic rail portion of the Luth-AR butt stock but found some matches don't allow modifications. Instead, I position my rear bag forward to contact only the smooth portion of the stock and it seems to work well.

I found a rail cover.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Itís able to be cut to size and it appears to be flat on the bottom.
I just donít see my self using a mono pod on the back but stock. I use a bag but I also donít like the sharp ridges on the back rail.
