Only saw two, the "long shot" was about 40m tops and the next was 30 feet...

Dog fox hit just off centre of the throat with a 55gr Varmageddon over 26gr of 2208.

Vixen hit dead centre of the chest white patch.

My Mitchell skinner (made for me by well known Aussie gun writer Ted Mitchell Sr) whipped the $10 bounty scalp off quick as a flash!

Happily, the rain and wind has knocked some of the long grass flat which will make late summer calling a lot easier!
Since you fellows that hang upside down on the earth have way too many rabbits, why don’t y’all close the season on foxes for a couple of years??
By paying a bounty on foxes it seems like you’re shooting yourself in the foot.
Them fox are pretty good at catching rabbits.

Them fox are also very good at killing lambs and also our native fauna.

Around here there is a LOT of sheep farming and the %%%%%%%s take a lot of lambs.

Rabbits get hit HARD by myxo and calici viruses at the end of summer around March. Foxes just keep breeding.

Our native fauna has pretty much evolved in the absence of a ground predator and the introduction of the cat and the fox has caused a lot of damage.

Here are two pictures, one with a "kid" and another with a "KIDD".

My grandson killed his first gray with a single shot 410 with me yesterday morning.

I killed these 4 with my KIDD, .22LR on opening day (Aug. 21).

The KIDD is a LW Supergrade I bought in the spring. I have it scoped with US Optic with AO.

Its a left handed savage MK II. The original barrel was swapped out with one from a MK II FV.
