Ruger MkII and a Griffin Optimus Micro?

I have a Mk II with a 5.5" bull barrel and the adjustable target sights. If I had the barrel threaded would the sights be high enough to use with this suppressor. What diameter of can will this work with without having to get new sights? I have no experience with suppressors up to this point and was wondering if anyone had used a Ruger bull barrel before and what size can you had used.

I have a Gov model shown here with a Bowers Bitty

I usually have a Bowers U.S.S. (now called Icon) in Ti. on that pistol, it's the same diameter but longer which makes it quieter due to the volume of gas it absorbs. It works great with the sights on it. I'll look for a picture with the U.S.S.

EDIT:
Oops, I thought they were the same diameter, the Icon is 1" and the Griffin is 1.1"

"The ICON features a 6.4″ X 1″ diameter, 5.5 oz, titanium tube"
