Stopped in one of the local gun shops today, as I frequently do, just innocently snooping around and what do I see? I see 2 LVT's on the rack. Hmmm, I says to meself, lookie here, 2 LVT's on the rack. I know one of my eyebrows raised and the other lowered but I don't recall which one did what. So, like a faithful RimfireCentral follower, I politely asked to put my hands on 'em...both of them. One is the 1235 (all blue) the other is a 1234 (all silver). Price tags read, $339.99

Well, ain't that a kick in the pants. I asked if they had any more of the 1235 models because I wanted to know how fast I needed to move on buying one...he said they had 3 more in the back. I didn't ask if they had more of the 1234 models.

So, I am now having a serious debate with myself on the pros and cons of buying one of each.

Well, I believe I will. I think I'm going to go back for the 1235 model. I do prefer the blued look over the stainless.

This version of the 1022 has gotten some really good press for it's looks, handling and accuracy. Plus they're getting difficult to find, especially for that price. A very recent internet search turned up nothing so I was kinda shocked that this store and several in stock.

It has a Heavy tapered barrel in a birch sporter stock. Kinda looks like this.

Also, on the rack sitting pretty, between the 2 LVT's was a Talo Exclusive, French Walnut 10/22 for $449.00

Is this 10/22 Heaven?

I've got the 1234 version but had to order it as nobody in my neck 'o the woods carries any of the higher end 10/22s. Pretty accurate right outta the box with CCI SV but I haven't really had a chance to really wring it out yet.

You lucky guy

If it was me, id buy the french walnut one, put a 20 inch gm sporter barrel on it, a kidd trigger, bolt and charging handle, a VQ long rail, and a nice scope.

I recently purchased the 1237 (blued receiver, stainless barrel), and couldn't be happier with it. I sent mine to CPC for the full spa treatment to maximize it's accuracy, and am shooting 5 shot 1/2" groups at 50 yds. (see my other post). They are nicely balanced rifles. I say buy it!

Did you shoot yours to see how it grouped before sending it to CPC?
