Ruger has the patent on their MKIV takedown frame. VQ has produced upper receivers for this frame for the past 3 years or so. They finally just bought up a bunch of Ruger pistols, took the frames from them, threw on their upper and all of their internals, and now offer a full on pistol. Same as they did with the "Black Mamba". Several of us have been shooting the same thing for a few years now, only we just pieced ours together at the time when the full on model wasn't available.

Like these. Neither is a Black Mamba or a Habu. Though they are the exact same things.

I’ve been shooting my home made Habu a lot ! I really like the balance of it ! I let some friends shoot it now they are wanting to build one . Off hand at 50 ft I can put 10 rounds in one inch group off sand bag it will shoot one hole groups

Don't misread 50ft as 50yds. I'll believe it all day.
