New VQ .22 rifle--lube and break-in?

I just bought a VQ Classic in .22LR from Rimfire Sports and Custom--a great buying experience. It should be here toward the end of the week. The last new gun I bought was a Dan Wesson PM-9, and it came with a lot of directions about specific lubricants and break-in. Is there anything similar for the VQ? What should I do to my new VQ before heading off to the range?

For specific questions or recommendations regarding the new rifle you may want to contact them directly. Looking over the manual https://volquartsen.com/assets/semi-auto-rifle.pdf I did not see anything that jumped out but there are some cautions for cleaning.
Enjoy your new rifle.

I have bought a few new guns from them and they seem to be pretty freely lubricants when l received them.
It has just been my experience that it helps if you run them pretty wet (lubricanted) at first to get the action running smoothly. Their hmr and wsm, more so than the 22 lr.

Best of Luck, l love mine!

It's a 10/22. Spray the inside of the receiver and the recoil spring with some Hornady One-Shot and go shooting.

+1

That all I did with my MR 1022WMR, and it ran like a champ.
