Ive seen them in person. They look nice, but know that the finish is very matte. You could strike a match on it. Not like any other case hardened finish ive seen.
Ill add, Henry should make a steel case hardened option as an after maket item to be a replacement for the painted reciever covers on the rimfire lever guns.
I'd pay a pretty penny for one.

Someone would have to ask Henry about this,,But I highly doubt this is real genuine case..Too expensive to do it right..And I bet the metal used would not even lend itself to real case coloring. Likely does not have the ability of the carbon content to do it real. Likley would be near impossible to ever real case color thin sheet metal covers in real case..Just way to extreme of tempos needed to do it without warping..

If I am in error..Sorry Henry guy If they are actually real case..They are going to be expensive I suppose..

For what they charge for these original Henry style guns I would hope that it's the real thing. Don't get me wrong. In today's world the price isn't massively out of line. But these are not budget items either. So I'd hope that it's true and proper color case hardening.

Thats good because I don't care for what I see at all and I like case hardening.
