Just got word today that one of my project managers is out with covid. He's a big , fit healthy guy. Real outdoorsman. Told me it really knocked him on his butt. Day 12, resting and taking advil. Got it from his girlfriend and brought it home to his son. Closest person so far that I know as I've worked with him for 20 years. And he was one of the most cautious guys in the office.

That’s great news.
Wife had her Covid follow up appointment this morning, cleared to go back to work on anytime she feels. Look like it’ll be Thursday.

Not sure at all. Wife has some other medical issues to attend to that will take us at least past Christmas. Plus, the covid is absolutely raging in Yuma , not much to do once we get there. Has been 20 years since we spent a winter in Wyoming, might have to get back in practice.

Ice bugs and down. Dunno how we survived before without the two.

This does need to be taken seriously.
You never know how you or loved one will fare with Covid.
I friend just lost both grandparents and his mom in one month to Covid.
His mom went to help her parents with laundry because the doctor said it was pneumonia. She got it from them. Now all three are buried. That misdiagnosis was fatal in many ways.Luckily somehow his dad didn't get it too. His mom was 61 years old.
Please be safe out there!

That is a shame. Doctors cause exponentially more deaths than law abiding gun owners. We need doctor control far before gun control is even discussed.

I showed this to the wife this morning on her way out the door. Was a bit surprised that they weren't immediately diagnosed with covid. Up here its been quite the opposite issue, dang near everyone with any form of symptoms gets a covid label slapped on them and treatment.
Seems even doctors forgot that all the things we got sick from before covid still exist... Its a bit of an uphill battle trying to remind some providers of this fact.
On the bright side, they have had 22 influenza patients in the last week. So we can go back to being fearful of all the other things that kill as well.
(Vee..... if you see this ask your friend if he has a slight nocturnal cough in the weeks and months following covid. My unrelated lung x ray showed no pathology or damage a month out, but have had a slight cough each night for about a minute or two between 8-9 since getting it. Nothing real impressive just a few coughs here and there.)
