Recently purchased a new model 1913

Looking for a MOA type rail for use from 25 to 200 yards
I print about 14 inches low at 200 when the Sightron S2 is dialled to the max

Cannot seem to find one
Advice please

Tikka260.
Check with mwerks. They make strong rails with custom MOA tapers.

Another possible source could be DIP.

Worth checking mwerks. Bought an mwerks rail for my 2013 and am very pleased with it.

DIP

The DIP rail seems to require the receiver top to be drilled and tapped
Then four screws go into the receiver top

Mine does not appear to be tapped

Thanks

I think those are set screws. Not savvy enough to know if the mwerks 54 round action model will work on the 1913. Worth a call, strong design.

Edit. From DIP.
Please specify during "check out" in the comment box if your receiver is drilled and tapped or you need the set-screws.

Give Jeff Madison at M.Werks a call he can make any rail you want. I have a 25-MOA custom made for my 1411, that only has the rear dovetail groove.
I also have the full length that fits the round action match 54 like yours

DIP Rail

I have had the DIP rail on my 1913 for past 18 months. It is a precision fit. The six set screws work well. Has a Nightforce BR scope on it, did not move.

Tip: put a small piece of lead shot in hole before inserting the grub screw so not to risk marring the finish on the action.
