Whistlepig feedback please

I just picked up one of their 8" charger barrels for lightweight project.

On the first range session most 10 shot groups were in the 1.5" range at about 50 yds. There are a number of variables at play with this gun, (the brace being a big part) but I realize I had expected results I could round to 1 inch. So, 2 moa or so.

Whistlepig recommends cleaning every 25 rounds for the first 100, which I did. I fired a little over that and my very best group just squeezed under an inch with Sk+. That's encouraging.

Next time I get out, which loads have performed well in your Whistlepigs, and what kind of accuracy should I expect?

I'm, realizing I am quite spoiled by my GM and Feddersen setups that will just about stack that same ammo.

Thanks

I've always wanted to get a whistlepig, just because of some of the wild colors and effects they do on their barrels, but I prefer not to use barrels with an aluminum tenon

now if they would only use stainless tenons and liners...

I have two WP rifle barrels, both accurate shooters with average HV ammos, Blazer and Auto Match.

What are the liners made out of?

Sharp rifles! Encouraging that they like blaster ammo well enough.

1.5" groups at 50 yards with an 8" WP barrel is pretty good in my book...

i have a 10" for my Charger TD that i purchased for my suppressor - i swap it out sometimes for use with my Charger TD dedicated to a VQ Firefly bolt and .22 shorts out of modified BX mags

no complaints really... i had more trouble with a TacSol Pac-Lite for one of my MKII Frankenrugers (chamber is hand cut apparently, and feed reliability was improved with a very slight chamfer of the lower outer chamber face)

I sent a few more rounds this weekend. Set up and conditions are still far from ideal. Sk+ yielded some encouraging results. More time is still required. But looking more like ~1.5 MOA than 2+
