After much trial and error, I've learned how to make some pretty mean stuffed mushrooms. They involve:

1. Big mushrooms, lightly pan fried in butter
2. Minced crab meat (the real stuff)
3. Finely chopped garlic and onion, sautéed in bacon grease
4. Crumbled Ritz crackers
5. Sriracha sauce
6. Fresh-ground black pepper
7. Lawry's seasoned salt
8. Shredded mozzarella

Mix that up, bake it in the oven for 30 minutes and tell me it's not wonderful.

I had the best hot pot yesterday. Spicy side could have been used as a chemical weapon. Had to go easy on it...

Wow, culinary delights here. But almost all could be a topper on grits

In the pure food category: fresh never frozen Alaskan Colossus giant red king crab legs & claws with drawn butter might cause a premature org, err, release, of the diners. Free $&H from Alaska from Oct on.
Eating healthy... except for the sodium which is 31%/3oz. I have pills for that!

The Tiramisu they used to serve at Palomino was at the top of my list. Too bad they closed down.

All along the Gulf Coast, I always order a Crab meat Cocktail with shrimp on top before the main meal. It seems every restaurant has their own recipe, and I have always been pleasantly surprised - they are all very good!

So much good food to choose from. But maybe I’ll just have 2 slices and a coke. A real taken for granted snack back in my youth.

King Crab looks impressive and is good, however Tanner Crab beats it hands down IMO.

Oswaldo cut the lawn so I did a quick 20 spin. Some 70 year old broads tried to beat me, but in the end they just could not match the power of the mighty dlong. Better luck next time gals.

Rhody, maybe your back issues are the product of too much hibidy dibidy? Hoping you’ll be back in the saddle soon.

I had a teacher lady friend in Green Bay that would bring me frozen snow crab for 20$ a case when she came back here during breaks etc., 40ish yrs ago when I was single. I'd fill up a steamer kettle and pig out all by my lonesome.
