One of the best things i ever ate was “ Chiles en Nogadas “ at the Camino Royale in Mexico City in 1985.

Also , at the same restaurant, grouper cooked in banana leaves with a tomato sauce and plantains .

Another favorite dish is “ The Priest Fainted” a stuffed eggplant, that will rock your world!

Just got back from Florida, and 7 days of fresh oysters, gulf shrimp, and conch chowder. Hard to beat that

Can't even begin. Lamb shank, I just posted in response to someone's "worst".. Boti kabob I made last week..

These short ribs were cooked (sous vide) 48hrs before finishing. Up in the top 5 meals I've ever made.

Cooking is my passion.

A cajun seasoned creation, I cook for my family, made of chunks of shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage, rice, and peppers. Takes all day to simmer. Takes about 5 minutes to disappear once served. Yum!!

Hard to say the actual "best" thing ever, but clearly in the top 5 was Venison Wellington made by my wife (my job was harvesting the Venison). Since we can't get foi gras here in California, she used a mushroom mix on top if the Venison inside the pastry shell. Yep, it was memorable.

Just spray a little oil over them, then roast and add sweet chili glaze - I have Maggi brand for sprinkling on veggies like this, but make my own for larger dishes like the ham I glazed this week - rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, honey or brown sugar. Grind some pepper over them as well.

My closest grocery doesn't carry fresh brussels, so I keep a couple of bags of frozen on-hand. [email protected], two servings for me.
