On my air pistols and rifles I use silicone.

Less than you think is way too much to use.

I use RWS silicone chamber lube. A couple of drops and worked in all directions to spread it out. It doesn't take much.

Howdy Turtle, here's a PDF copy of the instruction booklet. Maintenance is at the very bottom.

https://cdn.pyramydair.com/site/manu...tol-manual.pdf

Just a light coating on the spring and exterior surfaces and shoot a felt pellet or patch with a drop of light oil on it through the barrel once in awhile is all you need. Don't oil the air chamber.

I use Pellgun oil which is petroleum base but silicone works fine too.

Have fun with it, they're a hoot to shoot

Question polarizing oil

Anybody know what "polarizing oil " is.

From the manual posted in the link.

5. Exterior Surfaces. To prevent rust from forming from the oils on your hands, exteri-or surfaces should be wiped down thoroughly with a silicone cloth. Before airguns are stored, they should be given a good wiping with a very high grade polarizing oil.

I got rws springer oil and a few drops on mainspring and a drop on pivot point! I’m surprised at how hard it shoots at 50 feet round dome pellets go threw both sides of soup can I like it as a little more than my model 41mainly because 22 Ammo is ridiculous high right now ! but both are excellent guns!
