Never seen a 541X with adjustable trigger. You might have to find the procedure on here somewhere on lightening the 581 trigger. Friend just bought one and the rigger is over 4.5 lb. Terrible trigger for a target style rifle. For what it cost him he could have bought a shooter grade 541-S. I doubt that he will keep his with him having a 540X to shoot with a great trigger.

I modify all my 540/580 series triggers. They all get a sear engagement screw and dual return springs.

What pull weight are you trying for? To keep it simple you can disassemble trigger and lightly polish the sides of the parts. Then google “Earnie the gunsmith” and order his 788 Remington trigger spring. This should get you a 2.5 pound pull + or - a little. To get lower you have to do more work like modifying parts.
CAUTION: Loosen the set screw at front of trigger housing before attempting to drive out cross pin that attaches trigger to action lug. Use backer to support lug and housing when driving out pin.

Or PM PWNolan for contact info. His brother is a top notch gunsmith. I have seen photos of some of his work.
