Any questions

Any questions that were asked last month that I should address will be answered in last months post.

Changed from Windows laptop to Android tablet, still trying to figure it out.

Not a great score but will get the month started.
I did get a plug gage as well as an Eagle Eye gage finding my scores to be a bit lower than I had thought using just my old eyes.

My entry for April 2021

Factory 25 yd.
chuck40219
CZ 457 AtOne 24" barrel, CCI AR Tactical , Score 1835
Small front rest, Protektor rear rest, Shooters Edge 3x9 scope
Sunny, 68* wind out of N at 10mph variable with gust to 15mph.
Had a great time today. I am trying to set this little CZ up for the RFC CZ 25yd scope match. There are requirements for this match, I will let you look them up. The main one that I am working on now is the 9 lb. weight limit. Found this little scope on top of the gun safe, it weights 13 oz., great but parallax is set to 50yds. so thought I would try to adjust it down to 25 yds. Well I could not get it set right, so I shot the target anyway. Think I will get one that one of the shooters on the RFC Cz 25yd shoot recommended.

That's my story and you know the rest.

Nice job fellows. I hope to get a target in. Things just got so busy here with the weather change and the outdoor work. 16 acres to take care of.

WOW! I have a hard enough time taking care of our postage stamp subdivision size back yard!

Unlimited 4-14-21

Unlimited 25 yd.
chuck40219
Winchester 52D, Old Eley Match, Score 2350
Bald Eagle front rest, Protektor rear rest, Sightron 10x50x60 set at 30
Raining , 46* when I left, wind out of NW at 7 - 10 mph

I do not do well when the temp is below 65 or so. The ammo is left over boxes when I tested for benchrest. The scope is an older Sightron I pulled off of a F class rifle I have. The rifle is a Winchester 52D built in 1963. Now if I could get my act together I might be able to turn in some good scores.

The rifle

The ammo

The target

Nice target Chuck and nice Rifle. Mine is a 62 with the earlier C trigger. I bet you have the better D Trigger. I still shoot mine with Irons.

Thank you

Naw it still has the older trigger. The other 52D has the newer trigger.

I shot irons with mine before, when I could see them. I am still waiting on getting my cataracts removed by the VA.

A little better one target at a time.
I don't know what I was doing different but shot this one at 2400 then the next one was 2150. (Looks like the first one was luck but I will take it.)

I got a new sporter bag for the SEB Mini so I am no longer using the 3" bag rider I had fabricated. Only downside is I have to remember to check level for each shot as this bag has just a touch of play. After getting home I made up some delrin shims to tighten it up so will see how it works next time out.

Unlimited, 25 yards
Screen Name: Pipes1 Name: Robert
Rifle: CZ 457 Varmint Precision Chassis, Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56, Ammo: SK Standard Plus, Score: 2400
Weather: 5 to 8mph and 65 degrees. (Arizona does cool down if you get out early in the morning.)
SEB Mini front rest, Protektor rear bag.

Gone be hard keeping up with you. Don't know if I have the energy.

Great target. Keep up the great shooting.

It would be great if others would join us.
