I bought a very early Contender Frame(1968) off GB. I was going to use it along with my .22lr barrel. When assembled It would lock up and no amount of force would break it open. The Hinge Pin had to be removed to get the barrel to move. Called S&W they provided a SHIPPER (FedEx); Shipped to them 7 weeks later I received my frame and barrel along with a note from the technician. He said he worked on my frame for 4 hours It Now works and no charge from S&W. Customer Service like non other!

yea, when T/C was first purchased by S&W there were a few issues with CS but that was soon worked out.

Glad you had a good outcome.

Now we need pictures and a range report.
