Thanks for the information. For the condition it is in and being a 1963, you made my day.

An old photo, but one of my favorites:

I've picked up a few more over the years.

A few more group photos showing some of the K22 Masterpiece design changes over the years between 1948 and 1960:

I have a 17-3 and 14-3 with the long barrel. There's also a pre-15 that shoots as well as the longer barreled guns. I would love to round out the collection with a Model 48 (I love the .22 Magnum round and have no interest in the K-32). But I'm really undecided about the barrel length. I guess the M48 is rare and expensive enough that I'd likely buy whichever M48 I found first.

I agree that the K-Masterpiece series is one of the finest and still maybe a bit under priced considering how great they look and how well they shoot.

Be afraid,,, Be very afraid!

I now have two matching revolvers . One in .22 and the other in .38
Nice score my friend,,,
Nice score indeed!

You now own a brace of iconic revolvers,,,
But that can start a snowball effect in your mind.

I bought a pristine Model 15 at The Evil Pawn Shop,,,
A month later I was in there just perusing the pistol cases,,,
The Evil Pawn Shop Guy said, "Hey Aarond, have you ever seen a Model 18?"

I often hate that man!

Meet Stella and Didi,,,

That was only about 5 years ago,,,
Now I have 11 rimfire/centerfire pairs in my collection.

Meet Tmava Zena and Mala Sestra,,,

Meet Velma and Velda,,,

Meet Lynn and Vanessa,,,

Meet Savannah and Charlotte,,,

There are six more matching pairs sitting in my gun safe,,,
From now on you can never buy just one gun,,,
You'll always be looking for a mate to it.

Do you see the danger in what you have just done?

If you aren't careful you will start wanting a Model 16 in .32 S&W Long.

This can be addictive my friend,,,
Heed my warning,,,
It's a trap!

Be afraid,,,
Be very afraid!

Aarond
