I'm not much for safe queens, but I bought two of these when they were first issued. Both are unfired. In case there are some who haven't seen one, enjoy.

What year were they issued? How many of each were made?

2005. I think they made a few thousand, so they are not that scarce. They also made one that had two barrels, a bull and a round.

Sweet! You must have a big safe to "lose" track of those two beauties!

Yea, I couldn't have a collectors item. I would shoot the thing and ruin it's value.

I would keep them as safe queens or sell them for something that you want more.

I have a pretty good assortment of .22 pistols, so I am not tempted. I know what you mean though.

One of my rules is that I won't own a gun that's too rare/fragile/collectable to shoot, or that hasn't been shot and would drop in value significantly if I did (apart from buying a new production unit).

Just like not having a car that I wouldn't be willing to drive the tires off of - although I'm not to the point in life where that's even on the table yet.

I agree... There is no such thing as an unfired gun...They all have to be fired for pressure testing and function before they leave the factory.. If I married Ms. America do you think I would not let her be a wife... Nah... Dave

Just like Mrs. America, If you don't try it, some day, someone else will.

I do not own a gun I will not shoot including some high grade Perazzi's and Krieghoff's. I went that route with the numbers matching muscle cars for a while. I had a 66 Corvette 327, 4 speed convertible with power windows , both tops ,factory side pipes etc with 18,000 original miles. Over the course of 5 years I put a grand total of 425 miles on it. Waste of time to have something you are just looking at. Same with guns they were made to be shot and will last longer than we will if properly maintained.
