Finally found a 10/22....

Picked up a black synthetic stock 18.5 model today. I plan on keeping it stealthy stock.....upgrades to the trigger and bolt etc. But as far as looks, outside of an upgraded charging handle I want it difficult to tell this things is anything special. A real sleeper (threaded barrel later). I've already added a Nikon 3x32 P223 compact scope to it with Burris tactical rings. Looks sweet.

Now I need it to shoot. Haven't had a chance to group with it yet etc. But the first thing I did was remove the barrel band!

This was the right move correct?

Try and find a 10/22 Magnum charging handle. It looks like the carbines only bigger. most would not notice anything different.

Hard as h3ll to find in my area also, after calling about 50 shops, I finally found a blued/wood 10/22 available today and pulled the trigger.

And now the 10 day waiting period, I hate being back in California...

edit: 269.99$
