Marlin Guns You Wouldn't Buy Thread

I thought this would be a fun idea. I was inspired by the recent post of Marlin Bolt gun that had the squirrel ground out of the stock. The original poster stated he wouldn't buy it for that reason. Another poster posted a link to a model 60 that looked like a retarded "Bubba" had owned it for several years.

I know there has got to be a lot of these things out there and it makes me laugh to see some of the ad lib comments people make after seeing them. So here is a link to the Marlin gun I wouldn't own.

Well, I certainly wouldn't buy the orange one for that price... But otherwise it doesn't look bad. I wouldn't be afraid to beat it up or use it hard.

You should post that as an alternative to FLA pressure pad idea.

I don't like to see that either but it may have been one from the factory that was already ruined. I have seen a bunch with botched impressed checkering.

Too late....I saw the post and purchased them in 3 different sizes

Questions for all mankind to ponder: Can we own too many hose clamps? How much duct tape is too much? Where is my tape measure?

However, I've been looking for the picture that I posted of the Marlin 60 where the guy cut off the butt and painted the stock silver....anyone know where that picture is?
