Hi
A New one added to the stable the Model 617-6... Hammerdown
You really did a spectacular job polishing up the stainless on that 617. I've never seen one shine quite like that.
I hope you realize that ogling your Smith & Wessons were the impetus behind all this spending. Thanks for getting me hooked!
Is Ford's Refinishing still the place to go for refinishing? I contacted Doug Turnbull and was advised that they only refinish Colt SAs and Automatics.

Hello
I appreciate your Kind words on my revolvers. I Don't know how the quality is now as Ford's it has been a year and a Half since they did one for me but the quality then was second to None.. Hammerdown
Thank you for all the great posts and photos of your beautiful Smith and Wesson's, this forum is still around so I'll share my second K-22 Masterpiece, serial # K 205XXX, still with box and screwdriver. I received a phone call the other night from the original owner, saying that he heard I may be interested in a couple of old Smith & Wessons. He was right! The photos don't do this revolver justice it is easily 98%. Everybody here says you can't have just one K-22, you're right. I'm on cloud 9 right now, because Santa came early this year. Greg
