Walther or S&W?

I emailed Walther about an issue with my P22 and it got bounced back to me as undeliverable. (email addy from the walther site) Do you guys use it or S&W?

And before you ask it was an extractor problem. The hook chipped in 500 rounds and when I say it was throwing cases everywhere.........it was worse than when it began. You never knew where they were going to go from the start. But then it went to heck and started chucking 90% straight up or back at me and thats when I looked for a problem.

Will they even send me a new one without me sending the pistol back? (I have reworked the stocker via dremel/files/heat/hammer/and reheat treat to the point of where it works better than when I got it) But thats besides the point. I'd like a new one so I can use it for a pattern to make a new "re contoured" new one. Mine is beyond that point.

Since you are Stateside in Ohio you need to contact S&W. 800 number on the back of your manual, then 3 for the service dept. They will fix it at their expense or if you're handy at the repair, tell em and just ask that they mail you an extractor or two. You'll get it in three days. Then make your own. You must deal with S&W though. Good guys up there. Tell em hello for us. M1911

Thanks for the info. I just got home and read this, popped on the phone and in under 5 minutes total shipping it tomorrow. I talked to Dave and it was as painless no questions asked as could be.
