I might be mistaking, but isn't the 'silver button' just a triggerstop? My X-esse (Trailside) had something just like it.

^^^ I know that the M3 and M4 have adjustable trigger not sure about the M1 and M2. I would guess that the button under the trigger might be a trigger stop but it also could be where the trigger releases the hammer. I'm just guessing.
I know when I get mine I am doing a complete strip of the gun and post pics, Thats if M1911 or Crete dosen't get there's first. They more than likely get there first. I'm trying to get funds together to put a built motor in my Lightning.
So my gun funding is taking a hit.

Thanks for the pics. On your camera do you have a MACRO setting if so, Use that setting and it will allow you to get real close up pic with out it being bulry.

I am fairly certain at this point it is a trigger stop. The little ball bearing in the middle does push in, but I do not think it has anything to do with releasing the striker. The M3 and M4 have adjustable triggers. I may break out the SLR this weekend and get some better shots. The others were shot with my wife's Kodak which was convenient at the time.

Question

The M2s are showing up around here at the past couple of shows, is there a way to scope or red-dot it without waiting for the M3?

They have kits with the rail in them, but I do not know how much and if they are available yet. I am planning to change the sites and while they are on the accessories list, there is no price or basket.
