Many members have bought and commented about them when they were more available. Just run a search at the top of the forum page.

I like mine, I think it is the older style. I would like to build one with a slimmer forend sometime. I have a 17hm2 Summit build in mine.

I had one and it did not fit me good

I purchased one with the intention of using it as a light weight 4 position rifle but it just did not fit me at all. Also wanted to use it as a biathlon rifle with the straps but I did not like that stock. The more I used it the more I did not like it.

Got to thinking about it and asked myself why I took a nice svelt lightweight rifle and put it in that chunky old stock and decided to sell the klinsky.

For what it is worth, I am 5 foot 8, sorta chunky, and shoot 4 position and used to compete in biathlon.

Found a full length stock for my ultralux and that is one fine rifle!.

Regards,
Crankster

I wouldn't say it is a bench rest stock. The relief in the bottom of the butt end and the forend is not flat through its length are both counter productive for bench. As the others said it is not a beauty of any sort but I'm 6'2" and 225, fits me pretty well. I like the vertical grip, and the basic style. It's a very hard wood but I'm not sure what kind as it comes from Russia. If you want a bench stock I would find something else.

I have one for a 453 but never istalled. It seems like very good quality & an upgrade over the stock stock(pun intended).

Chernobyl wood? The one in the first picture has a flat bottom forend , looks benchier to me than the CZ 455 Varmint Stock.

I've one for my lefty Lux 452. Got it on ebay, was in communication with Klinsky for a lefty one however it didn't go anywhere. Low and behold I found one new on ebay.

In terms of fit and finish it was A1 and was a drop in fit. I got it for tacticool style shooting and some informal prone. As stated above it's a clunky lump of a stock and kills them svelte lines my rifle had.

Below is mine. I used it with a CZ-452 Ultra Lux and for offhand and bench shooting, it is excellent.

The wood itself is HARD!! It was a drop-in affair for a CZ-452 model rifle except for the rear trigger guard screw which is a wood screw. I had to drill a pilot hole for the screw and I couldn't believe how hard the wood is.

Age has caught up with me and I no longer shoot offhand. I put this up for sale in the Trader section but had only one inquiry at a low ball price so I still have it.

Iím thinking about putting my 455 Varmint in one of them. I think it might ride the rest better.

Very well made stocks. It was a drop in fit for my 453 Varmint.
