Picked up an old Bearcat yesterday. It really has a nice feel. Can't get over how light it is.

Looks like a lot of fun. Be sure to post a report when you get to shoot it, preferably with pictures.

Yours sure looks brand new. That's a great find.

My two stainless New Bearcats are my favorite guns. One of these days I have to get a nice older one, preferably the steel frame Super Bearcat.

Hope to get to the range this weekend. The only flaw on the gun is the trigger guard. Must have took a bump as its a little out of round. Cannot believe how light it is. All aluminum/alloy frame. Fits easily in your pocket. I expect this will be very fun to tote around to plink with. The Hunter model in the photo shoots great but it just weighs so much.

Maybe on the wall at the Post Office?

There are some complaints about the Shopkeeper ejection rod pinching fingers, and being too short to drop the empties well. The base pin is a bit harder to pull, since it has a shorter head. Things to consider, but that's what you get with an inch less barrel.

The Bearcat grip size stops a lot of people, but it works great for me, and I don't have small hands.

Mine is from 58 or 59 serial no. begins with an F. Great little SA revolver, carry it with me when bird hunting, great for a squirrel within 15 yds. Fun little handgun, well made and easy to carry.
