Talking My "Stock" 10/22

Thus far . . .

My "Stock" (Walmart) 10/22 has the following mods:

Bolt buffer
22 Magnum bolt handle
Extended Magazine release
Auto-bolt release
Williams Rear Aperture sight
(Ruger Xtra tall front sight)
Trigger work (local shop) about 2.5 pound pull
Muzzle Crown (local shop)
Barrel channel relieved (Deluxe Sporter stock)

It will print dime size, 10 shot, one hole groups at close range (15 yards)
Just tested it today at an indoor range.
I plan to test at 25 and 50 yards, outdoors this coming Sunday.

Yeah, I think it is shaping up very nicely, so far . . .

You keep this up and you wont be able to post in the factory/stock 10/22 forum anymore, you'l have to move to the ultimate forum. That's how it starts trigger job here muzzle crown there next thing you now your addicted.

He's still got the factory stock and barrel, about the biggest visible change is the peep sight. I say let him stay here.

Both my 10/22s are in what I'd call "super stock" condition, too.

It's like running NHRA pro moddified but not quite top fuel.
