Savage-Rigid Question

I’m currently running a Savage Evolution (MDT) 6.5, however, I want to also get into 22LR. Is the Savage MKII still a viable option with a RigidAlloy stock. Bud’s has them for $165.

This is a Savage model only question. I don’t really want to get the CZ.
