Mr. Tony Mele, stock maker extraordinaire based in Rhode Island, is thinking of delving into the CZ realm. His specialty right now is the 10/22 though, but if myriad gents are interested, they may be able to sway him to start on the CZ project.

I have 3 (2 of which are sporters called The Avenger) of his stocks. Splendid fit and finish

This cnc-made stock is labelled as The NightHawk. Looks predatory

Mine is the one devoid of forearm vents. I will have her early next week.

[IMG][/IMG]

Color-themed acrylic buttpads which he personally makes.

He has about 4 designs, the NightHawk being the most laborious and expensive. Btw, he also makes stocks for the venerable Mr. Joe Chacon.

Mr. GrgGuns, my apologies for getting back to you late but you can find everything about Mr. Mele's stocks in this thread:

https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...011241&page=30

His phone number is on post #440. You need to text him first because he is a very busy man. He will get back to you right away and it may take you hours once you two start talking The gent is an affable man and takes pride in his work just like the venerable Mr. Djdilliodon.

Also, he has recently acquired a CZ 455, so he may be willing to take in orders now if there are numerous takers. I mean, setting up his cnc machine would not be practical if he has only 1 or 2 buyers of a particular stock.

Cheers!

I'm looking for anyone who has actually purchased this stock directly from Klinsky in Europe themselves
.
In particular:
-I believe there is an ATF form required. What was the process? This surprised me.
- estimated shipping cost to US?
- I also read there is a banking transfer charge?
- any other fees? (ATF,FFL,???)

These are the kind of details I am interested in, and not sure if I contacted Klinsky they would be aware of all US laws/fees required.

In particular, I would like to purchase one of their fancy wood CZ 455 stocks...but if the additional costs are too high, or process too complicated...

I just recently ordered a stock from Klinsky. The transaction was very smooth, I placed an order online on the Klinsky website, next morning I had an email from Daniel with instructions on how to send money (PayPal). Two days later the stock was shipped and I got the tracking number. Right now I think it is clearing customs in NYC, so I expect to receive it by the end of next week.
The shipping cost was 1000 Czech Koruna which is about $50.

Update:

Earlier this week, I ordered a Klinsky stock directly through their website. Allowing for the time difference, I received a very prompt and pleasant acknowledgement from Daniel Tobias, co-owner of Klinsky, thanking me for the order, but suggesting it would be best to contact their US distributor:

Kurt Krasne
Krasne's Inc/Triple K Manufacturing Co.
2222 Commercial St , San Diego, Ca.
[email protected], [email protected]

The following day, I received an e-mail from James Wells, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Triple K Mfg. I replied with the order info I had placed with Klinsky and am waiting for his response with US pricing and availability. Presuming pricing is in the same realm, and availability is reasonable, I'll move on it.

If this turns into any sort of extended delay or other inconvenience, I will just buy another stock from Tony Mele. I wanted the Klinsky to add variety to the collection, but it would be hard to top Tony's works of art.

I'll update the group when appropriate.

-Steve

I am fortunate to have 2 of Tony's stocks for my 455 Varmints. These stocks are super for bench rest shooting. Now just waiting for him to have some for the 457.
