Anyone able to tell me anything about Wilama .22's? Come across a bolt action that's missing the magazine. I can't find anything about Wilama on google. I suppose finding a magazine would be an impossibility?
They are accurate rifles, but the magazines are difficult to find. When, or if, you find a magazine be prepared to pay top dollar for it. When I was looking for a magazine a few years ago, the only one I found for sale was $50.

Trade Ex did not post the correct name when they listed the Wifama WZ 78 on their website. When they listed it, they did have one that had the magazine. There appears to be some parts available but a replacement magazine is not among the parts available here https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/Wifama-wz78-c213.htm
The Wifama WZ 78 is built like the proverbial tank.
there was a source back when i got mine [two actually] that had the mags but i cannot find my record of where that was , most of these did not come with the matching mag they were issued with , got all mixed up in the import procedures - i lucked into a matching one for mine - a great fellow on another site saw me post about it and said when he got ready to sell of his he would swap with me and a few years later that happened ,
i sold my second to a great friend , we both like them a lot ,
A good rule of thumb when you buy a foreign surplus rifle that has detachable magazines is to buy at least one extra and more if you can. As with the rifle you found, extra mags can be difficult to find and expensive when you do.
Many years ago I bought a Benelli B-80 pistol. They were made for only a short time. I only got the original magazine and for a long time I looked for a spare. I finally found a pair and paid quite a bit for them.
